Hey there,

I've got some exciting news to share from this past weekend! Freeride Indoor had the fantastic opportunity to be a part of the Outerbike event in Duluth @ Spirit Mountain, and let me tell you, it was an adventure worth sharing.

Unveiling the Excitement

Being present at Outerbike Duluth as sponsors was shweet. Mingling with fellow biking enthusiasts from the Duluth community was a delight, and the response to Freeride Indoor was nothing short of incredible. We even had some young riders don our Freeride Indoor stickers on their helmets, bikes, and yes, even their foreheads.

And speaking of style, we received some fantastic suggestions from the biking community. Ideas ranging from a bike hamster wheel to exciting progressive gap jumps and a dedicated area for trials riding were brought to the table. Your creativity and passion truly inspire us, and we're eagerly exploring these intriguing concepts further!

Thrills on Two Wheels

The opportunity to try out different bikes on Duluth's trails was an exhilarating experience. I hopped on a Transition Patrol Large and a Yeti SB 135 & SB 120 Medium. These rides confirmed my affection for medium frames (I'm 5'10" for reference). I found myself confidently tackling jumps that I wouldn't have dared the last few times I was at Spirit.

I must say, the shorter travel Yetis absolutely ripped. Hitting Candyland, Happy Camper, Smorgasborg, Thing 1, Thing 2, and Wildcat was an absolute thrill. I was only able to ride a few times because we were engaging with fellow bikers at our booth. And guess what? I managed to conquer the trails at Spirit Mountain without a scratch – a triumphant feat for me!

A Glimpse into the Biking World

But the event was more than just our booth. Outerbike brought together a lineup of big names in the biking industry, including Esker, Fasst Company, Fantic, Ibis, LaMere Cycles, Onyx, Outside, SRAM, Stans No Tubes, Squirt, Shimano, Transition, Yeti, and Coggs was representing as well. The collective energy and enthusiasm were infectious, making it an incredible platform to connect and share our love for biking.

An Inside Look at Outerbike

Now, you might be wondering what Outerbike is all about. Well, let me break it down for you. Outerbike isn't just your typical biking event – it's an immersive experience that offers a unique blend of adventure, community, and innovation. The following picture was taken before the event opened, there were over a hundred people at the event.

When you grab your pass for an Outerbike event, you're in for a treat. Every pass includes original Outerbike swag, three delectable lunches, and happy hours to keep the good times rolling. And the best part? If you opt for the Full Demo or BYOB pass, you'll have access to a fantastic selection of demo bikes, ensuring you get to test ride some dream machines.

But Outerbike isn't just about biking; it's about soaking in the biking culture and connecting with like-minded folks. Whether you're hitting the trails on a demo bike, your trusty companion, or simply enjoying the event's atmosphere, you're in for a memorable time.
